Video is a powerful way to get across any message about your business or organization, services, how-to's and more. Video can be useful in multiple places like E-Mail Marketing. Statistics showed that on a test email where the only difference between the emails was that one contained a video, the email with the video got 2-3 times more clicks than the one without. Even putting the word "video" in the subject line of an email can increase opens by 5 to 6 times. Other ways to use video are to create video blog posts, have an overview video about your company on your website home page and have video sections on Facebook, LinkedIn and Pinterest. To host your videos, I recommend using YouTube or Vimeo (depending on your companie's Internet policies). With YouTube and Vimeo alike, you can create custom video channels that people can subscribe to and that come up in search. Remember, YouTube is the second largest search engine after Google, so having a presence there can make you more visible. Video is not as expensive as you think, and depending on the type of video you are shooting, you can do some yourself.
